Beautiful lake house with tons of windows which are gorgeous but blinding at 6am when the sunlight pours through. No window treatments- bring your sleeping mask!

Kristen’s place was great! The location was a convenient distance to supermarkets and the mountains for snowboarding/skiing. The lake in the back was also nice to walk by. Kristen was easy to contact and answered all my questions/concerns. If you want to use their fireplace wood, make sure you bring your own or be ready to replace it, or else you will get charged. It took the house a while to warm up, but as she laid out in her instructions, you can set the temp to whatever you’re comfortable with. I would give this place a 4/5 because there were no curtains/blinds on any of the windows in any of the rooms/bathrooms as she explained it preserves the beauty of the nature around us. (We knew this prior to booking and we still wanted to stay because it was and is a very beautiful house.) I would’ve like to have had the option of at least blinds especially at night for more privacy. Nonetheless, great place to stay and great host! Thank you!!

The Cabin was just as described. Really thought that the cabin stood out from other Rentals in the Pocono area in that it wasn't overly decorated with a classic look. Bathrooms were really nice and plenty of bunkbeds for the Kids and the beds were comfortable. When we walked in with our kids and the two other small families that came in all said "wow". We rented it for my twin daughters' 5th birthday and were allowed to decorate as we felt as long as no permanent items were left or damage to walls. Brian and Kristen were extremely helpful and responsive in any questions or concerns we had. We had a bit of snow that had iced over on the walkway before our other guests arrived and Kristen had the local maintenance guy come and salt the walkway to get rid of the ice within about an hour. This was actually our first Airbnb rental. So glad that we had such a nice experience here, and it really felt like home away from home.
